On the last weekend in October, CVP gathers to celebrate Martin Luther’s nailing of his 95 Theses to the Wittenburg Church door on October 31st, 1517; an event that sparked the Protestant Reformation. This celebration is part outreach and part fellowship. Although we have not advertised in any of the years we’ve gathered, the event annually draws over 300 members and guests for food, music, worship and fun. Each year we’ve chosen to highlight a single country or region and examine how it was affected by the Reformation. In years past, we’ve looked at Germany, England, Switzerland, and Spain.

In 2011, we will highlight France during the time of the Reformation.

Members and guests are encouraged to dress in period costumes.
